Technical Specifications for MCs
You will be given 5 beats to choose from. Choose one. On your own time, record 16 bars and a chorus if you like. Keep it relevant to the topic of that volume.
• When exporting, make sure that the track starts at zero, is either a wav or aif file and is at least 16 bits!

We’ll do the mixing! If you wish to send us a rough mix of how you’d like it to sound, that would be great too. (Don’t forget to tell us which beat you used!)
A note to MCs! For those of you in NYC or Boston, you can record your track at the Nomadic Wax HQ in Brooklyn or Boston.

To keep things diverse, please send us 5 of your dopest beats with as much variation among them as possible.
