How Diaspora Will Be Distributed

Diaspora Mixtape is unique in that the project will be distributed not only by Nomadic Wax, but by everyone involved. In the past, only labels controlled distribution, setting the price of the music and dividing up the funds.
When you contribute a track to Diaspora Mixtape, you are a co-owner of the project. That means that every MC on the project will have the same rights as the label to distribute, sell and disseminate the project as they see fit.

Every artist will receive:

High resolution artwork
High resolution audio
A waiver giving them the right to be able to distribute the album

The idea is simple: Everyone has their own community, networks and fans. If we all band together, we can all benefit equally while helping one another.
