7th Mic started to rap at age 14 with Black Sect, and has since created a internationally celebrated presence using his microphone as a weapon against disinformation. He released his first mixtape “Unplugged “ (2009) at the 9th edition of the Waga International Hip-Hop Festival in his home town. The mixtape was a metaphor for our disconnectedness from the system, journeying through his African heritage to sci-fi novels, Anime, and Martial Arts. 7th Mic focuses his message to the youth, hoping that one day they will see the end of the struggle for peace, with understanding and mutual respect between all corners of the globe.
