Born in Mozambique South East Africa, surrounded by a civil war that left over 2 million people dead and 5 million displaced, a young Mohammed Yahya was forced to flee his country and move to Portugal. There he would begin to show an interest in music, partly due to his father’s influence as a singer.

Later, having moved to London, Mohammed Yahya decided to pursue a career in Music. In late 2007, he released his first album “Luvolution” alongside UK Based MC Iron Braydz. In early 2008 Mohammed Yahya decided to pursue his solo career performing across England , Scotland , Norway , Sweden , Czech Republic , Austria , Morocco , Germany , Mozambique, Ivory Coast and U.S.

Mohammed Yahya has received a great deal of publicity due to his positive artistic activism and his message of Universal peace. He has been featured in ITV, BBC, ORF (Austrian Television), Swedish Television, as well as various International publications.

Mohammed Yahya impressively delivers soulful street poetry with hair raising honesty in both Portuguese and English allowing him to reach a wide audience across the world.
